Where the Earth Meets the Sky
Set on a hillside with bushy views to the horizon, Rhino Ridge is the first and only private safari lodge in KwaZulu-Natal’s Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, Africa’s oldest proclaimed game reserve. A newish lodge, its architecture has clearly been influenced by the vistas, which now incorporate a waterhole that is visited by rhino, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and even the elusive African wild dog. Accommodation and dining are faultless, and the staff, many of whom are part of the community that owns the land and benefits from the revenues, are smilingly dedicated to your comfort.
The lodge has 8 luxury bush villas, two honeymoon villas, four safari rooms and two safari family suites. Each of the rooms has been designed and positioned to maximise the view and ensure guest privacy.
During your stay, enjoy exceptional safari experiences on either morning or evening game drives, indulge in a relaxing spa treatment or simply enjoy your drink of choice watching the breathtaking African sunset.
