Pakamisa Private Game Reserve is situated in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, on the outskirts of the town of Pongola. The town lies to the south of Swaziland and is the perfect link between the Kruger National Park and Durban. Majestically perched on the high plateau of the Pakamisa Mountain, the lodge has breath-taking views of the evergreen valleys and plains of the Pongola River to the east and the rolling hills of natural bush of the Reserve in the west.

Each of our trial rides provides incredible game viewing on horseback while strolling through the plains and challenging climb ups of the rolling hills of the vast Pakamisa reserve. You may ride into a herd of impala or wildebeest and numerous warthogs will let you get close to them before they start trotting off.
