Ndaka Safari Lodge is a fully-catered, truly child-friendly lodge in the Nambiti Big 5 Private Game Reserve, a malaria-free game reserve in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province. Nambiti Private Game Reserve is home to the majestic Big 5, along with 40 other animal species, and close to 300 resident bird species. Nambiti is conveniently located between Johannesburg and Durban in a malaria-free area just outside of Ladysmith. Being only 3.5 hours from Johannesburg and 3 hours from Durban makes Ndaka Safari Lodge the perfect meeting place for family and friends.

Ndaka Safari Lodge is situated in the Nambiti Big 5 Private Game Reserve, a 26 000 acre, malaria-free game reserve only three and a half hours from Johannesburg and three hours from Durban.
The rugged, authentically-African landscape is extraordinarily beautiful and geographically-diverse. The Reserve’s savannah grasslands, indigenous trees and shrubs are home to the Big Five, over 40 smaller game species, and abundant birdlife.

 Game drives at Ndaka are intimate and intense. On your safari game drive in an open safari vehicle, you’ll have access to the entire 23,000 acres that make up the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, situated near Ladysmith, in the heart of inland KZN. With an incredible density of disease-free wildlife, you never know what you may find around each corner or behind each rock. Keen birdwatchers can look out for over 260 bird species (although the true twitchers suspect that there are well over 300 species!). Along with the Big 5, there are 40 other game species to spot on safari game drives that you will remember for years to come.
