Mseni Beach Lodge is nestled along the pristine coastline of Sodwana Bay. We offer a restaurant with sea view and in season, Humpback Whales can be seen splashing about, whilst you enjoy a delicious meal or cocktail. Many activities are available in the area snorkelling, scuba diving, beach walks and visits to the surrounding game reserves. Mseni means “place of happiness” and our friendly staff are ready and waiting to make your holiday a memorable one.

Sodwana Bay National Park

Renowned for its sport fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling, Sodwana Bay National Park is situated on the Elephant coast in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, within iSimangaliso Wetland Park. This nature reserve reserve lies adjacent to Africa’s southern-most coral reefs. The St. Lucia and Maputoland Marine Reserves are linked to each other to form a continuous protected area stretching 150km (93 miles) from the Mozambique border south to Cape Vidal and 3 nautical miles out to sea.

Mseni Beach Lodge offers a choice of self-catering or bed & breakfast cottages, as well as a lovely beach house. All accommodation has a master bedroom with double or twin beds and bathroom en suite.
Our self-catering Family Cottages include a small kitchenette, fridge/freezer combination and an outside barbeque area.

Sodwana Bay is a beautiful place with plenty of activities to enjoy. It’s a popular destination for scuba diving, snorkeling, and swimming with dolphins. There are also some great fishing spots and hiking trails in the area. For an even more adventurous experience, you can try out some of the watersports like kayaking, jet skiing, and kitesurfing. If you’d rather stay on dry land, there are plenty of birdwatching spots, and the nearby game reserves offer a unique look at African wildlife. No matter what type of activities you’re looking for, you’re sure to find something to do in Sodwana Bay.
