De Hoop Nature Reserve
Morukuru Ocean House, in the 36 000-ha De Hoop Nature Reserve satisfies the craving for exclusive encounters of Southern Africa’s wilderness. The topography is exciting and diverse. Fifty-one kilometres of white sandy beaches and dune fields lapped by the Indian Ocean are home to Africa’s most significant Southern Right whale nursery offering rare sightings during calving season from mid-July to November.
