Londolozi Pioneer Camp is an exclusive safari lodge set in a 500-year-old riverine forest in the famous Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. Combining old colonial memorabilia with contemporary African style and art, Londolozi Pioneer Camp not only oozes charm and sophistication but also embraces a holistic approach to health and healing, offering morning and evening yoga classes and an organic, free-range menu.

Pioneer Camp’s three interconnected luxury suites and generous bush homestead makes this the most secluded and flexible of the Londolozi Camps. The private suites have superb river views and are perfect for honeymoons and secluded getaways. The Camp can easily be converted into a bush homestead for private multi-generational family groups of between 6 and 12 people.

Sabi Sands

The lodge is situated on the Sand River in the very heart of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. This reserve forms part of the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Park, a growing area that currently covers six million acres and incorporates the famous Kruger National Park. Wild animals move freely across this vast space, offering spectacular game viewing and a true wilderness experience.

Intimate Safari Experience

Pioneer Camp offers accommodation in three exclusive suites, all with en suite bathrooms that feature deep tubs and additional outdoor showers. The suites are spacious and secluded, and are decorated in a contemporary African style with colonial touches. On chilly nights you can keep warm by the cosy fireplace, and in the heat of the day you can cool off in the plunge pool on your private deck.
