Safari, seclusion, & serenity
Boasting nearly 4km of lakeshore frontage, Changa Safari Camp offers a unique and authentic safari experience. Changa’s unique and secluded setting opens many of Zimbabwe’s wild wonders. Eight luxury tents are set under sprawling Mopane woodland along Kariba’s shoreline and around a central pool, private beach and bar/dining area.
Lapped by the waters of Lake Kariba, shaded by Mopane woodland and hidden from the world, Changa Safari Camp is an oasis of tranquility and an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
Changa has been designed to blend in with the environment using natural materials. The camp furniture has been built using Zimbabwe’s finest teak and the bar has been fashioned around the hull of an old boat.
Lake Kariba
Lake Kariba, located between Zambia and Zimbabwe, is the world’s largest man-made lake by volume.
Based near the shores of Lake Kariba in the once-isolated Matusadona National Park, Changa Safari Camp is uniquely situated to take advantage of the best the water, the beach and the bush, now home to an abundance of wildlife, have to offer.
