General Terms & Conditions

1. Detailed description of goods and/or services
My African Dream Travel is a business in the tourism industry that provides travel information, travel ideas, specialist vacation consulting, safari planning and travel enquiries.

2. Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 working days and delivery confirmed by way of email.
(for e.g. booking number / booking voucher etc.)

3. Cancellation and Refunds policy
In the event that you cancel your booking, in full or partially, for any reason whatsoever My African Dream Travel will levy cancellation charges as defined in Section C below. In the occasional instance where My African Dream Travel is able to obtain waivers of cancellation fees and/or secure an ex-gratia refund from suppliers My African Dream Travel will pass this on to you less the Service Fee. However, My African Dream Travel makes no guarantees as to securing such waivers or refunds.

Cancellations of bookings must be done in writing. Where cancellations are sent by e-mail, you must obtain an e-mail proof of receipt and retain written acknowledgement of receipt from My African Dream Travel.
Cancellation of bookings:
– 61+ days before departure: Deposit non-refundable
– 0-60 days before departure: 100% Cancellation fee

My African Dream Travel will make every effort to confirm the required services after deposit payment. In the in the unlikely event of us being unable to confirm the itinerary travel services you will be offered alternative available travel services. Should the alternative available travel services not be acceptable to you we will provide a full refund.

My African Dream Travel will make every effort to ensure delivery of services as defined in the confirmed itinerary however we reserve the right to cancel services where unavoidable due to circumstances beyond the control of My African Dream Travel. In the unlikely instance that My African Dream Travel should cancel services defined in the confirmed itinerary My African Dream Travel will provide a full refund on the cancelled service/s only.

My African Dream Travel will make every effort to avoid misquotation. However, we reserve the right to cancel a reservation without liability or penalty if an obvious error or omission leads to a material cost implication.

No refunds will be given by My African Dream Travel for partly used vouchers or for no-shows.

4. Customer Privacy policy
My African Dream Travel shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal
information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

5. Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.

6. Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for My African Dream Travel via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African
Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the
website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

7. Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by My African Dream Travel separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site.

8. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is
South African Rand (ZAR).

9. Responsibility
My African Dream Travel takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website,
customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

10. Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and My African Dream Travel chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes
under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 2 Bismut Street, Jet Park, Boksburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

11. Variation
My African Dream Travel may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

12. Company information
This website is run by My African Dream Travel Pty Ltd based in South Africa, trading as My African Dream Travel and with registration number 2019/080318/07 and Clayton Foster (Director).
