Explore biodiversity in a wetland. A narrow strip of land in the extreme northeast of Namibia, the Caprivi Strip is about 400 kilometers long. This is one of the wettest regions of Namibia, not only because it rains a lot here but also because of the three rivers that flow through here – the Okavango, the Kwando and the Zambezi. Several reserves have been built in the area to protect the wild animals, which walk around freely inside the reserves as there are no fences to restrict their movement. The region offers you fantastic game drives and incredible mokoro or dugout canoe rides.

The chalets are located on a high riverbank, giving you an incredible overview of the Okavango River. Each chalet offers large, comfortable beds enclosed with stylish mosquito nets, mini bar, coffee/tea facilities, and air-conditioning. The large en-suite bathroom sports a large bathtub and separate shower as well as an outdoor shower for the nature experience.

 We take you with our small or large boat down the stream where you will see hippos, crocodiles, an enormous variety of Birdlife and much more! Our guide will tell you everything you wish to know about the amazing nature and wildlife in and around the river. Just before sundown we drive a bit further upstream from the lodge to the Popa Falls where we then watch the sunset with some refreshments and snacks.
